About

Perth Magician Robbie T has been providing memorable entertainment and magic for thousands of people across Western Australia and interstate, performing at corporate events, trade shows, birthdays, weddings, festivals, and even hens nights. Robbie T combines sleight of hand, misdirection, and humour to provide a unique form of entertainment, which is sure to contribute to the success of your next event.

Whether he is performing close-up magic for guests at a cocktail party, or performing live onstage for several hundred people, Robbie T is sure to provide people with entertainment they will long remember. And in doing this, he will help contribute to the ultimate success of your next event.

CLOSE-UP ROVING MAGIC:
PERFECT FOR COCKTAIL FUNCTIONS AND HOUSE PARTIES.

This is the type of magic which Rob is most commonly hired to perform. It’s a flexible style of magic, which caters perfectly to cocktail functions, champagne receptions, house parties, and any event where people are predominantly standing up. In short, Rob will mix and mingle with the guests, performing intimate close-up magic, from group to group.

The magic is visually strong, and hits people hard, with much of it being performed in the hands of the people watching. Rob works largely from his pockets, performing with playing cards, coins, and ropes, as well as using items borrowed from the guests, such as rings and mobile phones.

It’s a great entertainment solution to use as an ice breaker, and to create a general buzz and talking point within your event.

PARLOUR SHOWS:
PERFECT FOR EVENTS WITH 40 OR LESS GUESTS, EG: A DINNER PARTY OR A HENS NIGHT.
For small groups of around 40 people or less, Rob recommends a more formal show for everybody at the same time, typically lasting for around 45 minutes, depending on the needs of the client. Like the close-up roving option, parlour shows offer magic which has impact, while also allowing for a wider variety of effects, more theatricality, and greater participation from the audience. Rob provides his own speaker system, allowing him to incorporate music as well as ensuring everyone can clearly hear him. Every show includes a bottle of dessert wine, which is incorporated into the act, and offered as a complimentary give-away.

Depending on the type of event and the number of guests, Rob will sometimes combine a close-up roving show, with a shorter parlour show at the end. This is an excellent way of giving your guests the best of both (close-up and parlour) and ending the entertainment on an even more positive note!

STAGE MAGIC:
PERFECT FOR LARGER MORE FORMAL EVENTS, WHERE YOU REALLY WANT TO IMPRESS!
Rob regularly performs in front of crowds of over 100 people, and would be happy to put together a 10-40 minute stage show for your next event. His stage magic is smart, direct, witty, and at times, a little bizzare. His original stage antics have been recognised by his peers, when in 2012 the West Australian Society of Magicians awarded him ‘Most Creative’ following a stage competition. A regular performer in Perth’s Fringe World festival, in 2015 he co-starred in a full-length original stage show (entitled ‘Beyond Belief’), which was nominated for the ‘Best of Cabaret’ award.

His stage magic does not rely upon expensive glittery boxes, sequinned assistants, and elaborate stage rigging and lighting requirements. Instead, it’s simple and stripped back, allowing for great entertainment at a relatively lower cost! Clients have included the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, Fuji Xerox, Crown Casinos, RTG Mining, Reece Plumbing, the Motor Cycle Racing Club of WA, and the West Australian Mechanical Services.

Robbie T is available for corporate events, weddings, private functions, cocktail parties and exhibitions.

Good Morning Rob

Firstly, I hope you got home OK.

Secondly, WOW! Thank you for a GREAT evening of entertainment, laughs and magic tricks. You are a fantastic magician and entertainer and I have had nothing but positive feedback about the show. You had the entire audience’s attention throughout your stage show which on a mine site, can be quite challenging in itself. You were flexible and adapted to the environment in which you were in.

You blew my mind and the minds of many others.. We are still scratching our heads.

Thank you again!

Thanks
Kirsten

He seemed to be quite the crowd pleaser.
When I did chat briefly with him, he was extremely polite and thanked me for the opportunity to perform.
I have to admit, these days it’s quite refreshing to have someone be openly grateful to provide their services!!

I’d certainly look into hiring him for future functions.
He ‘worked the crowd’ quite well in my opinion.

Cheers,

Thanks
Krystyn
